Hydrogen as an energy source places special demands on the refueling process: the fuel is injected into the vehicle in gaseous form at up to 700 bar – under strictly controlled conditions, with high safety requirements and often under time pressure. At the same time, users expect an uncomplicated, familiar refueling experience – comparable to that of diesel or petrol. Especially for commercial vehicles, forklifts and off-road vehicles, robustness is also required – with high flow rates and minimal downtimes.
