Then WEH® Flat-Face quick connect couplings are your solution.
The robust quick-connect system is designed for heavy-duty continuous use in hydraulic industrial plants as well as equipment for construction, forestry, and agriculture. It withstands dynamic forces such as hammer blows up to 8 tons, delivers high durability – and simultaneously protects people, the environment, and the system.
Thanks to a flat-sealing design and hardened plug-in fittings, the couplings are extremely durable and virtually leak-free – even with frequent coupling and uncoupling. Compared to conventional hydraulic couplings (ISO 7241-A/B), significantly less hydraulic oil is lost during connection changes – saving oil, reducing cleaning costs, and protecting the environment.
All WEH® Flat-Face quick connect couplings are ISO 16028-compatible – and exceed the requirements of the standard in many respects.

An important parameter for the use of a quick connect coupling is the flow rate. With the WEH® Flat-Face, you can achieve excellent flow rates in your hydraulic system.
Another interesting insight: The diagram shows the flow rate you can achieve with WEH® quick connect couplings at a certain pressure drop. Please note that this information only applies in combination with TRN1 with TRC1, not when coupled with competitor products.
Protective caps – small helpers, big effect
Dirt is one of the most common causes of failure in hydraulic systems. The optional WEH® protective caps keep couplings and plug-in nipples clean – even when disconnected. This prevents particles from entering your system. The caps are captive and can be cleverly plugged together when connected. For more protection and less downtime.
Better than the norm
WEH® Flat-Face quick connect couplings are significantly more stable and durable: thanks to special hardening, the surface of the plug-in nipples is around 30 % more resistant than comparable products – ideal for heavy-duty applications and applications with high operating pressure.
The maximum operating and burst pressure far exceed the requirements of ISO standard 16028. The special sealing technology results in significantly lower media loss (leakage) when disconnecting. This is not only economical, but also good for the environment.
