Als Karolina und Erwin Weh 1973 die Erwin Weh GmbH gr\u00fcndeten und im Keller ihres damaligen Einfamilienhauses hierf\u00fcr eine Drehwerkstatt einrichteten, um dort Teile in Lohnarbeit zu fertigen, ahnten sie noch nicht, dass sich daraus in den n\u00e4chsten Jahrzehnten ein international erfolgreiches Unternehmen mit fast 200 Mitarbeitern entwickeln w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n
Bereits f\u00fcnf Jahre nach Gr\u00fcndung musste das noch junge Unternehmen aus Platzgr\u00fcnden in die Siemensstra\u00dfe verlegt werden, wo sich heute noch das Werk 1 befindet.<\/p>\n
Durch den Erfindergeist von Erwin und Wolfgang Weh sowie die tatkr\u00e4ftige Unterst\u00fctzung von Karolina Weh entwickelte sich aus einer kleinen Werkstatt f\u00fcr Lohnarbeiten ein Marktf\u00fchrer in der Verbindungstechnik und alternativen Betankungskomponenten f\u00fcr Wasserstoff und Erdgas.<\/p>\n
Die von Erwin Weh entworfenen patentierten WEH Spannzangen waren der Schl\u00fcssel zum weltweiten Erfolg der WEH Adapter. Heute kann WEH auf mehr als 40 Patentschriften zur\u00fcckblicken und auf eine einmalige Erfolgsgeschichte stolz sein.<\/p>\n
